Bakoi Bon is our NDIS Outreach Coordinator. Originally from Thursday Island, Bakoi has close family ties to numerous other islands in the area. She brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in various administrative roles on Thursday Island and in the mining industry.

What Bakoi is really passionate about, though, is making sure that people living in remote communities have access to high quality healthcare – ideally within their own local environment. Bakoi is a strong advocate for her people, and she’s always looking out for ways to improve their lives and is excited to be able to help make a real difference for those in need who live in regional, rural and remote communities
